Connecting a wallet and depositing

There are two ways in:

• Browser wallet: such as MetaMask or Rabby. Click Connect wallet and choose your wallet.
• Email sign-in: no wallet needed. Signing in creates a built-in wallet (provided by Privy), whose private key you can export at any time from the wallet menu to use it in another wallet.

Before your first trade, you sign a few approvals in your wallet that let Polymarket's contracts use your funds for trading.

To deposit, open Deposit in the wallet menu and send USDC or USDT on a supported network to the address shown. It arrives as pUSD, usually within minutes.

Polymarket restricts trading in some countries and regions. From a restricted location you can sell, cancel orders and withdraw, but not open new positions.
